Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Virginia is seeking reliable General Laborers for a variety of manufacturing, warehouse, and construction assignments across Central Virginia.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, material handling, packaging, sorting, and maintaining clean, safe work areas; some positions require weekend work. Entry-level opportunities may exist with on-the-job training and alternating 8- or 12-hour shifts, 5- or 6-day weeks.

Qualifications

• Previous general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, or construction experience is a plus.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable and dependable with good attendance.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor and production duties as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets and materials.
• Move, carry, stage, and organize materials and finished products.
• Assist with warehouse and manufacturing operations.
• Sort, package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Assist with assembly and other hands-on tasks.
• Use basic hand tools when required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
