Ahlstrom’s Rhinelander paper mill is hiring General Laborers. Training is provided in paper machines, coating prep, stock prep, and shipping. This on-site position offers a path for a long-lasting career with opportunities for advancement.

Competitive pay starts at $28.15/hr with potential to exceed $70k in the first year, plus benefits and a shift-friendly schedule in a 24/7 operation located at 515 W. Davenport Street, Rhinelander, WI.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Must have a strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team.
• Good mechanical aptitude and physical capability.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test, background check and physical.

Responsibilities

• Support Equipment Operators and learn the next level job.
• Haul and hoist materials using powered industrial trucks and cranes.
• Load and unload materials from machines and perform basic data entry.
• Participate in safety initiatives and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist with quality inspections.
