Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a General Laborer to join our manufacturing leadership team. This labor-intensive role supports the production of molded rubber goods, handling tires from passenger cars to semi-trucks, in all weather conditions.

You will load and unload tires, stack products on pallets, assist with loading trucks, and work as part of a team to maintain a steady production flow.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in industrial manufacturing operations environment (preferred).
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our manufacturing leadership team as a General Laborer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, physical labor, and the ability to work well in a team environment and ensure the production process has a continuous and steady flow of the production of molded rubber goods. This is a very labor-intensive role that works in all types of weather, moving, lifting, and lacing all types of tires from passenger car to semi-truck tires.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload Tires of all sizes
• Stack finished products on pallets
• Loading trucks
• Moving, loading, and lacing all forms of tires
• To work in all weather conditions.
• The ability to work as a team

Required Skills/Abilities:

• The plant environment will include, extreme cold and heat (weather related), working near moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently required to stand for 9 hours a day, walk; use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl.

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years' experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment, preferred.
