Job Summary:

This role involves cutting strands and assisting with the concrete pouring process for the production of concrete members. It also includes housekeeping and other plant tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety and quality rules to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
  • Receive instructions, roll torches, and transport steel and tool buggies to the bed, unload materials.
  • Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channels, insulation, etc.
  • Pull strands, thread bulkheads, block outs, frames, and dead man; cut strands with grinders; place chucks on ends.
  • Place and tie rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire; assemble form and side plates.
  • Prepare for concrete pours.
  • Clean around beds after members are stripped; dispose of trash and scrap.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
