Job description

In the position of General Laborer, you will work with the damage production team, handle all damaged product labels and placards for completed pallets, and verify all batch numbers are correct on each case.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Make labels for reworked pallets and create placards to properly label reworked pallets.
  2. Assist in training temps on process and procedures in the damage area.
  3. Assist in tracking and maintaining correct lot codes.
  4. Maintain organization in the damage area and machinery used in the area.
  5. Rework damaged pallets to convert them into good inventory.
  6. Create damage reports for the inventory team to remove product from the system.
  7. Perform weekly checks in the rework area to determine if products can be made into full pallets.
  8. Follow and implement all safety procedures and keep the Damage area clean.

Position Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED. Relevant training and certifications, such as forklift operation or OSHA safety, are preferred but not required.
  2. Experience: 1-3 years in a warehouse environment.
  3. Experience in supply chain logistics is desirable.
  4. Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
  5. Certifications: Forklift operation or OSHA safety certifications are beneficial.

Base Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
