Temporary - Summer Help

Must be 18 years or older

BASIC FUNCTION:

Be a productive member of the CP&S team, assisting in various functions to help meet the goals of the organization. Work collaboratively with multiple departments to complete activities that will challenge you both physically and mentally.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Learn to operate a variety of equipment (floor grinders, dust collection systems, drill presses, etc.)
2. Support the movement of equipment and landmarks throughout the facility
3. Understand and promote the philosophies of lean manufacturing, 5S, and the Crane Business System
4. Assist in assembling and disassembling Ridge racks
5. Implement visual aids throughout the organization by painting, creating signage, laminating, etc.
6. Participate in material replenishment activities
7. Provide support to maintenance and other departments as needed
8. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
