Job summary

Osmundson Mfg. Co. is seeking a General Laborer to perform day-to-day production line duties. You will assist with setups, line runs, paint and pack, warehousing, cleaning, basic quality checks, and general tasks as directed on a fast-paced factory floor.

The position is 6 months, 40 hours per week, 3rd shift from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, on-site. Candidates should be dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of employment experience.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

• Basic English required to understand factory floor demands.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Description

The General Laborer will be responsible for performing day-to-day production line duties, including various manual labor tasks to support manufacturing operations at Osmundson Mfg. Co.

In addition to regular production line responsibilities, General Laborers may be required to sweep and clean shop floors, assemble cardboard boxes, move materials and supplies, and perform other general labor tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

This is a 6-month position, requiring 40 hours per week on the 3rd shift, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The ideal candidate should be dependent, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness.

Job Duties

• Participates in the completion of the following Production Processes: setups, line runs, paint and pack, general warehousing, cleaning, basic quality control, operating equipment as required, assisting other departments as requested
• Monitors Company safety under the direction of the Supervisor
• Provide support to the Production Line Lead to keep employees informed on those matters that affect the successful performance of their jobs as it relates to quality
• Ensures that all activity related to this role is accomplished ethically
• Maintains in good order, all records and files assigned to this function and ensures the safekeeping and confidentiality of all company records including computer information
• Maintains the working area in a neat, orderly, and hazard-free condition
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential

Requirements

• The sense of being able to see, hear, and have the full power of speech is required

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required
