Salary Range

$16.50 - $22.14

Job Summary

This position performs multiple general duties related to manufacturing support and material handling.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist assemblers by moving furniture to the Quality Control (Q.C.) area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support machine operators by moving work in process between machine centers.
• Help load and unload parts from machines and conveyors.
• Assist material handlers in segregating parts according to production schedules.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety requirements, including wearing provided safety equipment.

Physical Demands

• Involve walking, talking, hearing, and operating material handling equipment.
• Require close vision assessments.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. continually and 75 lbs. occasionally.
• May require stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Work in a moderately loud environment.

Qualifications, Skills & Education

Required:

• Detail-oriented
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in wood products
