Job Description
Pay: $18.98/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Location: Waterloo, IN
Position: General Laborer - Entry level role suitable for those new to the industry or seeking a career steppingstone in manufacturing. Responsible for inspecting and repairing pallets as part of our manufacturing and shipping process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Examine returned pallets for height and quality, following company standards.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, and stacking pallets.
• Operate a forklift to transport pallets within the yard.
• Follow policies and procedures to meet QA standards.
• Maintain a clean workstation and assist with yard cleanup.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform duties to company standards.
• Basic math skills.
• Reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• One year of manufacturing experience (preferred).

Physical Demands: Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be able to inspect machines, move throughout the facility, and perform physical tasks as described.
