Location: Lansing, IL — Our plant pasteurizes raw eggs to remove harmful bacteria for a safer product in the foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and check the quality of eggs, removing broken ones.
• Apply proper labels on boxes and understand date, expiration, and item numbers.
• Ensure bags and pails are properly sealed and clean.
• Stack flats of CHEX product onto pallets.
• Supply material to Top Lidder machine and load material into case erector.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production area.
• Follow SOPs and adhere to safety policies, GMPs, and sanitary standards.
• Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate computer touch screens and obtain a pallet jack license.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, noisy, dusty environments.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.

Pay range: $16.30 to $18.10 per hour.
