Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Denver, CO is hiring a General Laborer to support traffic control, roadway construction, pavement marking, and sign installation across the region. You will join a team performing physically demanding outdoor work, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds, operate hand and power tools, and travel as needed. Training and ongoing safety instruction are provided to ensure compliance and contribution to project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical examination, and drug screen.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, overtime, and overnight travel as needed.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive physical labor throughout the workday.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Reliable transportation to and from designated reporting locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with roadway construction, traffic control, pavement marking, sign installation, and other field operations.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, equipment, and tools.
• Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, sweeping, cleanup, and site preparation.
• Set up and remove temporary traffic control devices, including signs, cones, barricades, and drums.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as trained.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and work zone safety standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Work effectively as part of a team while supporting project deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
