Qualifications

• Previous labor experience in mining, construction, industrial, or outdoor environments preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in rugged outdoor conditions.
• MSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general physical labor duties in support of mining operations
• Assist with site cleanup, shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal around work areas
• Support equipment operators and maintenance crews as needed
• Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
• Follow all mine site safety rules, procedures, and MSHA regulations
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues promptly
• Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support production needs

Position Summary

The traveling General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks that support daily mining site operations.
