Job summary

Turner Staffing Group seeks motivated General Laborers to support a mining client in a dynamic production environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and eager to work hands-on in a mining setting.

You will assist operators, help with site cleanup, and handle materials while maintaining safe work areas and following MSHA regulations. Willingness to work day or night shifts and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, construction, industrial, or outdoor environments preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding work in rugged outdoor conditions.
• MSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required).
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
• Flexibility to work day shift, night shift, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general physical labor duties in support of mining operations.
• Assist with site cleanup, shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal around work areas.
• Support equipment operators and maintenance crews as needed.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies.

• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support production needs.

Position Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks that support daily mining site operations. This role assists equipment operators, maintenance personnel, and site supervisors with general site cleanup, material handling, equipment support, and other labor-intensive duties necessary to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
