General Laborer/Mill Trainees Positions $24.70

Responsibilities include:

1. Respect and enforce Pixelle Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, as an individual and as an operations team member.
2. Learn all beginning jobs within a progression line.
3. Bring raw materials to the machine, including cores, skids, blocks, and anything else to maintain operations.
4. Move product around the Mill using hand trucks and clamp trucks.
5. Assist other operators with making splices and threading winders.
6. Learn how to perform jobs safely and efficiently.
7. Monitor quality of product at every operation.
8. Assist with moving, weighing, taping, and labeling product.
9. Perform cleanup duty for machine breaks or standard daily cleanups.
10. Assist with threading of machines.
11. Engage in simple mechanical tasks including rope installation and lubrication duties.
12. Assist with Rewinding, Sheeting, and Wrapping operations.
13. Clean up broke generated by machines and recycle back into the process.
14. Do what is necessary to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D required.
• 1-5 years related experience in production; manufacturing industry preferred.
• Previous experience with the following is a valuable asset:
• Training
• Using a computer system to assist with manufacturing process
