Job summary

Blue Sage Services is hiring for a General Laborer II to build on Laborer I skills with equipment operation, increased project duties, and mentorship opportunities.

Responsibilities include operating light equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, compactors), assisting with layout, grading, and utilities, and reading project plans while maintaining safety standards on diverse field projects.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Previous construction experience required.
• Ability to safely operate skid steer, mini excavator, and similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate approved light equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and similar equipment.
• Assist with layout, grading, and utility installation activities.
• Read and understand basic project plans and daily work assignments.
• Perform trench preparation, pipe installation support, backfill, and compaction.
• Mentor and assist newer Laborer I employees.
