Position Summary

This position contributes to the production team, ensuring safety and efficiency while conforming to all company policies. The Production Crew processes vehicles to produce core & scrap products, enables customer parts retrieval, and meets environmental standards.

Essential Functions

1. Follow company policies and procedures, setting an example for the team.
2. Perform garbage removal, including Freon, fluids, batteries, and other items as prescribed.
3. Drain fluids such as gasoline, coolant, and waste oil, and remove catalytic converters as per procedures.
4. Set & Pull: Safely position vehicles for parts removal, clean up, and prepare for the next vehicle.
5. Field Decore: Loosen mounts, remove tires and core items.
6. Ground Decore: Remove heater cores, copper wire, and other components, maintain the work area.
7. Table Decore: Dismantle engines and transmissions, harvest wires, sort materials.
8. Tire Dismantling: Use machinery to separate tires and wheels, sort and prepare for shipment.
9. Janitorial duties: Collect materials, remove debris, ensure safety, and assist customers.
10. Assist with miscellaneous tasks, including logging, maintaining equipment, and environmental controls.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear and maintain PPE and follow safety practices.
• Follow verbal and written instructions, understand safety labels.
• Complete safety, environmental, and conduct training.
• Work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Work efficiently in various weather conditions.
• Preferred: experience in automotive repair, dismantling, or with automotive parts and tools.

Physical Activities

• Regular standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
• Handle tools and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety vision standards.
