General Laborer (Houston, TX) - Austin Industrial (TPC) - Maintenance

Austin Industrial, Inc. is seeking an experienced General Laborer based in Houston, Texas. This position requires a valid Driver's License and a TWIC Card. It involves maintenance work with a schedule of 4x10s plus occasional overtime, and no per diem is provided.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform strenuous manual labor tasks, including lifting over 25 lbs., bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in heat.
  • Operate hand and power tools as needed.
  • Assist in site cleanup, site preparation, trench digging, and scaffolding erection.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, securing tools and equipment daily.
  • Handle materials, load/unload trucks, and assist with material hoisting.
  • Follow safety procedures and report incidents to supervisors or safety personnel.
  • Support other craft workers and perform other assigned duties.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit, handle, and reach; frequently stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift up to 50 lbs.; and have good vision capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card are required.
  • At least 6 months of experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
