Kowalski Companies Inc is seeking a motivated team member to assist in the mixing of raw materials and spices in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment. You will handle grinding, blending, and material flow while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with preferred food production experience, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and able to work 8+ hour shifts, Monday through Friday with flexible weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs., twist, bend, and stand for 8+ hours in a cold environment.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and committed to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machinery including combo dumper, grinder, screw conveyor, mixer, and mill.
• Formulate pre-blends and final blends; load and unload mixer.
• Shovel meat in preparation of final formulation.
• Supply raw materials to grinding room.
• Supply ready to stuff product to stuffing room.
• Sanitize production equipment and maintain documentation per HACCP.
• Follow safety and food safety protocols including SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and MIOSHA standards.
• Work in refrigerated conditions throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grinding procedure, including the operation of the following machines: combo dumper, grinder, screw conveyor, mixer, and mill
• Formulate pre-blends and final blends. Load and unload mixer
• Shovel meat in preparation of final formulation
• Supply raw materials to grinding room
• Supply ready to stuff product to stuffing room
• Sanitize production equipment including linker/clip machines using approved cleaning methods.
• Ensure proper HACCP tagging and help maintain documentation accuracy.
• Follow all company safety and food safety protocols including SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and MIOSHA standards.
• Work in refrigerated conditions throughout the shift.

Work Hours:

• Typical start time is 5:00 AM, Monday-Friday. 8-10-hour shifts.
• Schedule and start times may vary based on production needs.
• Flexibility is required, including weekend availability as needed.
