Job summary

J & S Maintenance Company LLC is seeking a General Laborer to support worksite operations through manual labor tasks at our Ohio site. The ideal candidate will be hard-working and capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing for long periods.

You will assist tradespeople, transport materials, operate power tools, and help set up temporary structures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting, digging, standing for long periods).
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Able to work with onsite tradespeople and follow supervisor directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
• Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as welders, painters, and carpenters
• Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
• Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
• Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility
• Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
• Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
