Summary of Primary Functions: Cuts strands and assists with the process of pouring concrete in beds as necessary for the production of concrete members. Assists with housekeeping and other plant tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.

• Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel, and tool buggies to bed, and unloads.
• Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channels, insulations, etc.
• Pulls strands, threads bulkheads, block outs, frames, and dead man, and cuts strands with grinder, placing chucks on ends.
• Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and installs form and side plates.
• Prepares for pours.
• Performs cleanup around beds after members are stripped and disposes of trash, scrap wood, etc.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
