General Laborer EM: Wed: 1130am-530pm; Thurs-Sat: 530am-530pm (Finance)

Assists in general tasks to support the production and packaging of products according to company and governmental standards.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a general laborer position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Packing products
• Stacking and unstacking products to meet customer orders
• Sorting finished goods
• Documenting damaged goods
• Verifying packaging codes and UPCs to match planned products
• General cleaning and sanitation of the facility and surrounding grounds
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Team Participation

Participate as a team member, contributing to ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team policies. Attend team meetings, foster cohesiveness, and support organizational synergy.

Operating System Principles

Familiar with Simmons' operating systems (quality, security, policies). Understand the role in supporting these systems and communicate concerns or improvement ideas.

Additional Duties

Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives. This description guides the activities but does not limit the scope of work.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 lbs
• Stand for the entire shift
• Work in extreme hot/cold and wet/dry environments

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Steel-toed shoes, ear plugs, hair net, safety vest, and hard hat where required
