What You'll Do:

• Promote Safety: In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself and others throughout the operation at all times.
• Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with the operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment: Support servicing, repairing, and adjusting various pieces of equipment throughout the plant.
• Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations that maximize production and minimize interruptions.
• Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar loaders to aid plant operation.
• Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of general principles of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
