Job description

Come work for America's Master Craftsmen in Restoration and Preservation! Western Specialty Contractors is seeking self-motivated individuals to serve as General Laborers at our Charlotte branch. We encourage both experienced and non-experienced applicants to apply.

Responsibilities include:

1. Mixing cement using tools or machines
2. Loading, transporting, and unloading materials and tools
3. Cleaning work areas and restocking supplies
4. Rigging scaffolding on structures
5. Assisting in lifting, positioning, and securing materials
6. Performing minor maintenance on tools and equipment
7. Removing rough spots from concrete and patching holes

Minimum requirements:

• Experience in a trade or craft preferred
• Good reading, writing, and math skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights and in extreme temperatures
• Ability to wear safety equipment
• Reliable transportation

Additional skills such as concrete patching, tuckpointing, brick replacement, and caulking are a plus. Candidates may need to provide their own tools and work weekends, nights, or out of town as required.
