Job summary

MERSINO DEWATERING INCORPORATED is seeking a CDL A truck driver to operate company trucks over 4 tons for shipping, receiving, and relocations in Polk City, FL. The role requires DOT and OSHA compliance, safe operation, and delivering excellent customer service on each assignment.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, overnight trips as needed, and maintaining required certifications. High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of driving experience are preferred.

Job Summary:This position is responsible for driving and operating the company’s long and short-distance heavy trucks.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operationsOperate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materialsPerform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reportsProvide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operationsMaintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programsMaintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent conditionPerform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operationsUnderstand, complete and manage required technical documentationDrive heavy truck equipment on both short and long-distance routes as requiredAbility to make overnight runs as required by shipping needsMust be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the companyAbility to work outside in various weather conditions.Ability to work flexible schedule to meet job requirementsEnsures that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in all daily activitiesQualifications:CDL A required1 or more year(s) experience as truck driverHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredThis job has specific DOT requirements.
