Job description

Join to apply for the General Laborer/Assembler role at Ki Mobility.

This position involves working as part of a team in the fabrication, assembling, shipping, and/or packaging of wheelchairs. Responsibilities include meeting daily demand, ensuring product quality, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Flexibility in daily tasks and maintaining a clean work area are essential.

Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, first shift hours only, with overtime as needed. Schedule may vary by department.

Essential Functions
  1. Assemble, ship, and/or package products to meet daily requirements.
  2. Ensure quality of own work and maintain accurate records.
  3. Follow safety protocols and standards.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  5. Perform in-process inspections.
  6. Report to work on time and perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
  • Ability to use mechanical tools, such as power tools and wrenches.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing needs and fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of quality processes and measurements.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, manipulate, and handle products, including lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
