Job Details

The General Laborer is responsible for operating industrial power equipment to complete assigned tasks, maintaining high customer satisfaction, providing quality service, adhering to company policies, and ensuring a safe working environment. The role requires energetic, enthusiastic individuals with great interpersonal skills committed to customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate sweepers/scrubbers to clean factory floors
• Safely operate forklifts
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts, Gators)
• Use aerial lifts (e.g., scissor lifts, articulating lifts) for tasks above safe reach
• Handle pneumatic, battery-powered, and electric hand tools
• Assist with building and equipment maintenance (e.g., recycling, painting, filter changes)
• Perform grounds maintenance (e.g., landscaping, snow removal)
• Follow safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to follow instructions orally or in writing
• Adhere to health and safety standards
• Good communication skills
• Customer-oriented and friendly attitude

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of training for Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods; climb stairs
• Repeat movements, bend and twist frequently
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Work at heights up to 40 feet
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
