Job summary

Chesterman Company, a Coca-Cola bottler with Midwest presence, is hiring for a full-time warehouse position in North Platte, NE. You will perform general duties in a warehouse, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, restock supplies, and help with maintenance while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and communicate in English. Shift: mid/2nd, pay: $19.00 per hour; regular full-time status.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements
• Operate industrial power equipment
• Restock and replenish supplies, as appropriate
• Perform general maintenance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Fill in for other positions, as needed
• Manually lift and move product to restock and repack area, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
• Use appropriate manual, or powered material handling equipment (is., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations
• Assist with the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Qualifications: Education/Experience:

• High-School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous forklift experience is preferred

Work Environment:

Works in a warehouse. Temperature can be very hot and humid during the warmer months. May work extended hours to complete loading.

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, reaching, sitting, kneeling and squatting
• Ability to push/pull <50 lbs

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10:0pm
