General Laborer (6:00am - 2:30pm)

About Us:

For nearly 70 years, Toefco Engineering LLC has been providing coating solutions. We have engineered spray coating solutions for components ranging from tiny O rings to large holding tanks. Our work includes spray-coating hardware in the Statue of Liberty during its restoration from 1984-1986 with our corrosion-resistant coatings. We have made significant investments to ensure growth and deliver high-quality coated products.

Summary

Visually inspects, wraps, and packages parts. Collaborates with team members to meet production needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pack and unpack parts according to customer specifications.
2. Inspect parts for nicks, dings, blisters, and color distortion.
3. Count and verify production orders.
4. Wrap and package parts efficiently.
5. Check the quality of work to meet customer expectations.
6. Maintain a clean work area.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Ability to visually inspect parts for quality and consistency.
• Ability to apply reasoning to follow detailed instructions.
• Flexibility in problem-solving and adapting to situations.

Experience

Factory floor experience preferred. Packaging and quality inspection experience are a plus.
