Job Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for producing goods as specified on the job traveler or other instructions provided by the supervisor.

What You'll Do...
  • Perform production operations efficiently to maximize output
  • Support quality improvement processes to ensure defect-free deliverables aligned with technical specifications
  • Follow standard operational procedures, work practices, and policies to ensure consistent output
  • Produce goods as specified on the job ticket or instructions from the supervisor or team leader
  • Adhere to MPI procedures per job work center
  • Read and understand job travelers and utilize the computer job tracking system
  • Visually inspect sheets during operations for defects
  • Maintain efficiency and quality benchmarks according to MPI standards
  • Request training as needed to succeed
  • Keep the work environment organized and clean
  • Recommend improvements to management related to safety, product quality, rates, yields, or other matters affecting costs or employee health
  • Practice safe working habits as outlined in the Company Safety Manual and Employee Handbook
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by a supervisor
