Job Description

Pay: $24.61/hr ($18.61/hr base + $6/hr shift differential)

Location: Pen Argyl, PA

Shift: Sat-Mon 5:30am-5:30pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Complete examination of finished product by checking height, shape, color, and consistency according to company standards.
• Perform block checks, remove defective pieces, and replace with quality pieces, varying by line and product.
• Package products, including adding materials, labels, and conducting final QC before shipment, ensuring neatness and security.
• Assist machine operators and support processes such as pallet repair, general maintenance, and yard support.
• Follow policies and procedures to meet QA standards.
• Maintain a clean workstation and assist with plant cleanup.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Adhere to Techo-Bloc's vision, mission, and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand instructions and write simple memos.
• Effective communication skills on the shop floor.
• Ability to operate machinery (not as a machine operator).
• Basic math skills.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least one year of manufacturing experience (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, inspect materials, and identify color variances. Ability to move throughout the work area, ascend/descend stairs, and work in tight spaces is required.
