Job Description

This entry-level role in manufacturing involves assisting with production and shipping department duties. You will have the opportunity to operate a forklift or bobcat after receiving training. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift for 12 hours a day, and includes general painting throughout the facility. You will also learn to operate machinery to assist in the production process. Previous production or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train on all openings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with production and shipping department duties.
  • Operate forklift or bobcat as required after training.
  • Stand, walk, and lift for 12 hours a day.
  • Perform general painting throughout the facility.
  • Learn to operate machinery to assist in the production process.
  • Adhere to a 12-hour rotating schedule and be open to 1st and 3rd shifts.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule.
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to train on multiple parts of machinery.

The role involves working a 12-hour rotating schedule, with shifts from 7am to 7pm for 7 days, followed by 4 days off, then switching to 7pm to 7am for 7 days. The work environment is demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, and includes overtime opportunities. Also an opportunity available for 8 hour shifts with rotating 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.69 - $20.69 / hr.
