Job summary

The Popcorn Factory is seeking a General Laborer for the 1st Shift (Seasonal) in Lake Forest, IL. The role supports packaging operations by filling containers, feeding conveyors, labeling, and restocking supplies to ensure accurate, efficient production on a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM shift, Monday–Friday, with Saturdays during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Fill containers to ensure packaging specifications are met.
• Feed product to conveyors and unload packaged product.
• Replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, and cartons.
• Assist in loading packaging supplies and attach lot or product numbers.
• Ensure correct and complete labeling is printed and applied to packaging.
• Remove finished product from outfeed and stack in totes or cartons.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform routine housekeeping.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Compensation

The expected hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by law. Shift & Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Full-Time Hours: Monday – Friday
• Saturdays required during peak season
• Seasonal position with the possibility of overtime
