Position: General Laborer

Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Pay: Starting at $20.92 plus shift differentials with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental & Vision.

Shifts: Rotating schedule - 7 days 11-7 with 2 days off, 7 days 3-11 with 1 day off, 7 days 7-3 with 4 days off.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Laborer will work across various departments, meeting physical and vision requirements and obtaining a Power Truck Operator license. Excellent attendance, a proven track record in fast-paced environments, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety are essential. Candidates should possess strong hands-on, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with departments and teams

4. Setting up and operating machinery, with critical thinking skills
5. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace

This position is located at our Paper Mill in Wisconsin Rapids. Candidates should be Sonoco mission-driven, preferably with paper industry experience, and possess a proactive attitude. Basic computer skills, ability to read measuring devices, and the capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks are required. Knowledge of our products and quality standards, reliability, initiative, and commitment to quality are essential. A valid Industrial Lift Truck license and ability to climb ladders or walk in hot environments are necessary. No prior manufacturing experience is required.
