Job summary

Nekoosa is seeking a production support associate to assist General Production and Manufacturing at our Nekoosa, WI facilities. This onsite role covers rotating shifts (1st week and 2nd week), with 6 am–4 pm in the first week and 4 pm–2 am in the second week.

You will handle waste, packaging, and general material flow. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, organizing loads, equipment support, housekeeping, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all job duties safely and effectively.
• Able to operate mobile equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support all waste and scrap operations.
• Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks with Inventory Control Coordinator.
• Unload delivery trucks and collect billing paperwork and packing slips.
• Remove empty pallets and band up full cardboard pallets.
• Convert waste material into bales or other disposal methods.
• Perform daily housekeeping and general cleanup.
• Follow documented procedures and safety rules.
• Operate tow motor and clamp truck.
• Receive focused training to operate machine assets and advance to higher grades.

Your Impact:

Perform miscellaneous or assigned duties associated with the support of General Production and Manufacturing in our Nekoosa and Wisconsin Rapids facilities.

What You'll Do

• Execute and support all waste and scrap operations.
• Work with Inventory Control Coordinator to organize the loading/unloading of trucks, locating all products per process.
• Unload delivery trucks (packaging, pallets & misc). Collect billing paperwork and packing slips.
• Empty stretch wrap broke gaylords and put through baler
• Support all machine assets and Trimmer production as needed
• Responsible for collecting broke and waste materials from all machine assets.
• Remove empty pallets from converting and coating areas and band up full cardboard pallets
• Convert waste material into bales or other waste disposition methods.
• Perform daily housekeeping
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required, including general cleanup.
• Know, understand and follow documented procedures.
• Abide by safety rules and practices.
• Operate tow motor and clamp truck
• Focused training to learn how to operate machine assets, and develop and promote to higher grade responsibilities.

• Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and moving product and scrap materials consistently.
