Job summary

M&N Structures, Inc in Winsted, MN is seeking a versatile general laborer to support our fabrication process from material prep through painting. You will split time between inside and outside work, with daily tasks varying to meet production needs and team requirements.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation on raw materials using hand tools.
• Painting of fabricated steel assemblies.
• Pulling and organizing parts, tools, and equipment to support teammates.
• Assist in stacking and bundling finished material for shipping.
• Move raw materials and finished product; assist with loading/unloading trucks using forklifts.
• Take on other duties as directed by shop management.

M&N Structures, Inc. is a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator located in Winsted, MN. We serve customers primarily in the upper Midwest but have worked on projects across the nation. Our company is growing, and we thrive on the relationships we build with our customers, industry partners, and the peers on our team.

About the role

We are looking for a “jack of all trades” to support our fabrication process and continue the growth of our company! In this general labor role, you will be a part of every aspect of production from material prep through painting. You will mix time between working both inside and outside and the duties for the day will vary depending on where support is needed. Your willingness to jump into new challenges, work hard either individually or as a part of a team, and be eager to learn new skills will make you successful in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Surface preparation on raw materials using various hand tools, both pre- and post-production
• Painting of fabricated steel assemblies
• Pulling and organizing parts, tools, and equipment to support other fabricators on the team
• Assist in stacking and bundling of finished material for shipping
• Material handling, moving both raw materials and finished product, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts.
• Other duties as directed by shop management

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Vocational or Technical degree preferred
• 1 to 3 years experience in a related field is preferred but not required
