Job description

Project Title: Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements

Location: Williston, South Carolina

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, with potential overtime opportunities

Pay Range: $19+/hr based on experience

Company Overview: Haren Construction Company, Inc. specializes in water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and commercial and industrial types of construction.

The laborer will work on multiple tasks throughout the day and have various skill sets as necessary. The laborer will receive assignments from the supervisor and must be able to perform tasks without close supervision.

Essential Responsibilities: The laborer position will include but is not limited to the following duties:

1. Be able to understand and work within company safety policies and procedures
2. Assist team with shovel work, pipework, framing, finish work, formwork, concrete work, cleanup, and other miscellaneous labor needs
3. Frequently use various hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and other instruments
4. Work outdoors in all environmental conditions. Perform strenuous physical activities for long periods under varying and adverse field conditions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manipulate tools, reach, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull. May be required to work at heights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least six months of commercial/industrial construction experience
