JOB SUMMARY:

Performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. Responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of modular units and solar power conversion skids with other team members in the following departments: electrical, welding, casting, painting, material handling and others as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Utilizes broad construction skills for various building processes
2. Paint materials
3. Assists with inventory and/or materials for production
4. Transports material and equipment by hand or use of forklift, pallet jacks, and dollies
5. Cuts 500 wire off spoils to length per customer specification
6. Organizes and palletize cuts of wire
7. Unboxing or unpackaging transformers and inverters
8. Maintain clean and efficient workspace in warehouse or production floor
9. Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience: 1+ years of manufacturing or construction experience

Education: High school diploma/GED or equivalent

Related Experience:

1. General math skills
2. Proficient with hand and power tools
3. Ability to read a tape measure
4. Attention to detail
5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
6. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
