Job Summary

The General Laborer plays a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse, requiring physical stamina, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. This role involves maintaining safety standards, preparing products for shipment, and performing general warehouse duties.

Shift and Compensation

1st Shift: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: $17/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload freight from trucks.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing all day, bending, reaching, and stretching.
• Build and wrap pallets.
• Use a manual pallet jack to move items within the warehouse.
• Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep the work environment clean.
• Use power tools safely for various tasks.
• Remove strapping, rigging, nails, and blocking materials from containers and racks.
• Maintain punctual attendance and be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Assist with other tasks to support the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment is required.
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and perform repetitive motions.
