Job summary

Contech in Portage, WI is seeking a General Laborer to join our plant team. You will contribute to drainage systems, pipes, bridges and stormwater projects while working in a team oriented environment with opportunities to advance.

The role involves following safety protocols, handling equipment, and maintaining quality on all finished products. Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to read work orders, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the stamina to lift 40+

Qualifications

• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Willing and able to climb multiple stairs throughout the shift.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred - Experience operating a forklift.
