Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions in Portage, WI is seeking a General Laborer to support our plant operations and contribute to infrastructure-related products.

You will work in a team, follow safety protocols, move materials, and assist with production tasks. This role requires stamina, the ability to read work orders, and basic use of hand and power tools, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Able to read and interpret work orders and instructions
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Able and willing to climb multiple stairs during shifts
• Able to work outdoors or in open air environments
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
• Operate equipment when directed
• Ensure finished product meets quality standards
• Move 40+ lbs repeatedly as required

Job description

We are looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our Portage, WI plant. As a general laborer with Contech you will contribute to America's essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance quickly in your career with Contech.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
• Operate equipment when directed.
• Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard.
• Ready and able to move 40+lbs multiple times per day.
