Job summary

Savage is hiring Utility Material Handling Laborers to support housekeeping, safety procedures, and daily operations at our facilities. You will follow established rules, complete daily paperwork, and assist maintenance personnel as needed.

This role runs Monday–Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with uniforms and PPE laundering, a $150 semi-annual boot allowance, paid holidays, profit sharing, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
• Read, write, and understand English and follow written/verbal instructions
• 1 year of outdoor labor, refinery, plant, or industrial preferred

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping duties, including shoveling, washing down work areas, and keeping offices, restrooms, break rooms, and work rooms clean and tidy
• Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero-tolerance safety objectives
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork
• Assist maintenance personnel, as needed and directed
• Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by supervision
