Job description

Precision Steel Services in Farrell, PA is a locally owned metal fabricator that prioritizes exceptional customer service, high quality finished products, and on-time delivery for our customers. The full-time General Laborer position offers a consistent Monday through Friday work schedule, competitive pay, great health and 401(k) benefits, and an opportunity to learn and excel in an industrial trade.

General Laborer duties include handling material, cleaning and deburring parts, operating a forklift, preparing finished material for shipment, operating basic fabrication tooling and machines, including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, saws, milling machines, brakes, CNC, water jet, laser, and plasma machines. General Laborers are also responsible for following all posted safety rules and maintaining neat and organized workstations. General Laborers will also share in duties related to cleaning and maintaining the employee lunchroom, restroom facilities, and other areas of the plant as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work independently and as a team.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available during normal work hours: Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Some overtime may be scheduled.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. at one time.
