As a General Laborer at Swackhamer Masonry & Concrete, you'll be an essential part of our field operations, working alongside experienced crews to help with various tasks related to concrete and masonry projects. This is an entry-level position where you can gain valuable skills and experience in the construction industry. No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pouring and finishing concrete
• Help in preparing job sites, including setting up tools and equipment
• Clean and maintain work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Follow instructions from supervisors and senior team members
• Participate in on-site safety meetings and adhere to safety regulations
• Perform general labor tasks as directed by crew leaders or foreman
  
  

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, training will be provided
• Basic knowledge or interest in construction is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Must have a dependable transportation method to get to the shop, transportation to job sites is provided
• A valid driver's license is preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Must be reliable and punctual
