Job Description

Pay: $24.61/hr ($18.61/hr base + $6/hr shift differential)

Location: Pen Argyl, PA

Shift: Sat-Mon 5:30am-5:30pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Complete examination of finished product by checking height, shape, color, and consistency according to company standards and instructions.
• Perform block checks, remove defective pieces, and replace with quality pieces, varying by line and product.
• Complete packaging, including adding materials, labels, and final QC on the skid before shipment.
• Assist machine operators and support processes like pallet repair, general maintenance, yard support, etc.
• Follow established policies and procedures to meet or exceed QA standards.
• Maintain a clean workstation and assist with plant cleanup.
• Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety behaviors.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Align behaviors with Techo-Bloc's Vision, Mission, and Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand instructions, communicate effectively, and collaborate on the shop floor.
• Ability to operate machinery (not as a Machine Operator).
• Basic math skills.
• Reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Punctuality and ability to work individually and in a team.
• Ability to multitask.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• One year manufacturing experience (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently lift and transport items up to 75 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds. Ability to inspect materials, identify color variances, and work in various physical positions is required. Accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
