VML, LLC is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to perform essential physical tasks on our various worksites. You will load and unload materials, prepare and clean job sites, operate basic tools and equipment, and provide hands‑on support to skilled tradespeople and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and Unload: Move construction materials, supplies, and tools to and from storage areas and transport vehicles.
• Site Preparation: Clear debris, hazardous materials, and waste from the work area to maintain a safe environment.
• Trade Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers by handing them tools, holding materials, and performing basic setup.
• Manual Tasks: Dig trenches, grade surfaces, mix concrete, asphalt, line striping, general landscaping, street sweeping, parking lot cleaning, various day to day tasks depending on clients work order requests.
• Equipment Operation: Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and light machinery (such as compactors or drills) after proper training.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report equipment hazards or malfunctions immediately.
• Site Cleanup: Sweep, bag trash, and organize tools at the end of each shift to keep the job site clean and compliant.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 40–50 pounds consistently throughout a full shift.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred (not always required).
• Experience: Prior experience in construction, warehousing, or industrial labor is a plus, but entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are welcome.
• Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to job sites on time.
• Safety Mindset: Willingness to follow OSHA guidelines and complete basic on‑site safety orientation.
• Working Conditions:Environment: Outdoor and/or indoor industrial/construction settings; exposed to changing weather conditions, noise, and dust.Schedule: Standard day shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as project demands require.
