Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate (Matting Solutions) to perform labor tasks across our service capabilities at right-of-way sites. Responsibilities include installing erosion controls, staking, seeding, and site restoration, with frequent travel and overtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluency in English, a valid driver’s license, and 1+ year of construction experience with strong physical stamina and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or read/write fluently in English.
• 1+ year of construction experience; knowledge of safety hazards.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install erosion and sediment control devices.
• Drive wood stakes into ground with sledgehammers.
• Apply grass seed, fertilizer and lime; install straw blankets.
• Clean track equipment and remove mud and debris from access roads.
• Install T-posts and safety fencing; lay geo-textile fabric.
• Load and unload construction materials and tools.
• Spot heavy equipment in operation.
• Read and interpret Access/Construction Plans (preferred).
