Job Summary

General Laborer position requires general plant labor and cleanup of production areas; observe, monitor, and report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; trained in various entry‑level production positions and fills in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demands. Operate small equipment; replace or assist other workers as directed; and other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Safely and efficiently perform various housekeeping and manual labor tasks throughout entire plant
• As directed by supervisor, fill in when needed in all areas of plant operation
• Safely operate mobile equipment when necessary
• Participate in any training that may be required to improve job performance or operating efficiency
• Write work orders for necessary maintenance and safety concerns
• Communicate to supervisor problems or areas of concern and coordinate work efforts with co‑workers
• Assist in performance of minor maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
