Purpose

This role involves general maintenance activities within the plant that do not require craft skills. It also provides feeder labor to operations in the plant, including laboratory, packaging, and shipping, on an as-needed and ongoing basis as openings occur.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing to heights over 50 feet, working in confined spaces, lifting at least 50 pounds, and moving weights of 100 pounds or more
• Flexibility to work any shift, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, and to work overtime as needed
• Strong reading, comprehension, communication, and math skills
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Education and Experience

• Previous manufacturing experience, especially on rotating shifts
• Craft experience or training in areas such as Millwright, Process Technology, Instrumentation, or Pump Mechanics
• Post-secondary education relevant to petrochemical facilities
• Experience in a refinery setting
