Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a General Laborer for a company based in Greer, SC. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in various physical labor tasks, including construction, maintenance, or manufacturing, and enhance your expertise with a wide range of tools and equipment.

Pay Rate

$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in setting up job sites, including laying out tools and materials.
2. Load/unload supplies, products, or equipment from trucks or storage areas.
3. Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
4. Assist in maintaining and repairing company buildings, facilities, or infrastructure.
5. Perform basic manual tasks such as digging, sanding, or assembling materials as needed by supervisors or foremen.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Previous experience in warehouse work or construction is a plus.
2. Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions and sustain repetitive physical activity throughout a shift.
3. Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
4. Must have own tools such as tool belts, hammer, tape measure, etc.
5. Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Type

Full-time, temporary to hire.
