Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in the Dubuque area is seeking a General Laborer for outdoor, active work with a local company. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys physical tasks and working with a hardworking team.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional overtime and no weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with asphalt and rock projects, loading and unloading materials, using hand tools, and keeping a safe work area.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to perform physically demanding work.
• Able to lift and carry heavy materials.
